Chaturangas & Mimosas
Dressed in all black, the uniform of YOGAGANG, carrying our yoga mats in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. Morning fresh air around and summer sun shining on the skin, while we are walking in quiet, romantic streets in the center of Prague, excited to start the day the best way possible - nice stretch slash workout, followed by a delicious brunch, even more coffee and few glasses of well-deserved mimosa…
This is how the last weekend started for some of us. Some walked through the gate of Gabriel Loci Monastery shortly after waking up, but some were on their feet for several hours already because they traveled from all different corners of the Czech Republic… and not only that, we had visitors even from Slovakia!
We all gathered in the courtyard in front of the monumental building of Gabriel Loci, meeting all the friends we made at the previous classes and special events or introducing ourselves to the newcomers.

These answers we have received, when we asked you, how would you describe YOGAGANG… And it’s a damn truth… We all feel the same every time we get together!
After we energized ourselves with a glass of mimosa from @ProseccoKolo, Klara welcomed us all officially at 1O am and took us inside the monastery. We all made a sight of wonderment because of how the place made us feel. The architecture of Gabriel Loci, built in the Neo-Romanesque style, creates such a unique atmosphere of magnificence with a hint of mystery.
We unrolled our yoga mats in the main hall, scented with candles framed by beautiful colorful stained glass windows. The class started very gently this time, with no air-squats, burpees, and push-ups, like we are used to forming the typical dynamic YOGAGANG flows. It focused on the slow awakening of the body, followed by some nice and healthy vinyasa series that made us sweat in a good way. The endorphins released during the class contributed to the most peaceful and stirring Shavasana ever experienced.
All relaxed and grateful, we walked upstairs to another beautiful hall, a little smaller but also magical, with luxury glittering chandeliers hanging on the ceiling, where the delicious-looking brunch table was set for us. We clinked glasses with each other after Klara proposed a toast, and the feast started. The delicious-looking table, as mentioned, was not only good-looking but tasted even better.
The biggest credit for all the delicious treats goes to our killer-chef @KlaraKlima! She combined both healthy and nutritious with excellent and delightful taste in all the food she made and baked for us. We had sweet treats like chocolate and nuts, banana bread, poppy seeds cubes with mascarpone on the top, chocolate-coconut mousse, then avocado toasts with pea sprouts or the most fluffy leaven focaccia with tomatoes and potatoes, of which we would eat the whole loaf. Then heaps of fruits and veggies, of course, and the best coffee, organic tea, and coconut water from @Sunshot.SuperFoodBar were not missing either!
As the weather outside was fantastic, we moved back to the garden in front of Gabriel Loci, finishing our mimosas, chatting about anything, laughing, and spreading the indescribable vibe and energy that only YOGAGANG knows before we walked back towards our own lives, but connected with the rest of the Gang more than ever.
“It’s the energy, the guidance, Klara and all the people around her.”
This is how -Barča from Pilsen answered the question, “What makes you come again and again for the classes?”. And we cannot agree more, after this event especially… You guys make the community stick together, and that’s exactly what is so special about YOGAGANG. It is the reason why we all love what we do and why we are so grateful for meeting you, talking to you, sharing laugher, and having a cup of coffee together.
Thank you so much, Gang, for coming and get ready for the next event very soon!
“Don’t even think about it and just go! You’ll see that you will come again and again like me!”
-Lucy, Prague
“You just have to try it. There’s no word for it.”
