What was the YOGAGANG Training Zone like?

If you were there, you know precisely that it was probably the most active day of your whole life. If you were not there, you probably wish that another event is coming soon again and that you won't miss it this time. But how do I see the day from the visitor's point of view?

The spirit and vibe of YOGAGANG are, by all means, extraordinary and unique. What even added to this was the location where the event took place. The beautiful building of Průmyslový Palác in Prague, one of the biggest halls in the Czech Republic, made the atmosphere so enjoyable that I felt like I didn't wanna leave at all. I am pretty much a very aesthetic person and always care a lot (sometimes maybe too much) about what things, people, or places look like- it makes a huge part of my overall impression. And that is also why I feel so good with YOGAGANG around because I can be a hundred percent sure that they will put effort into making things seem nice. I don't have to worry that I would come to any unpleasant, dirty gym, but I know that it will be the exact opposite.

I had no minute of not knowing what to do next because the schedule was so busy. When not taking another yoga class with Klara or pushing myself during a strength workout with Adel, I could take a break in the chill-out zone, grab one of the delicious snacks from the Mikyna stand, energize myself at Urban Monkey, treat myself with one of the incredible milkshakes from Nemléko's limited edition created exclusively for YOGAGANG (that especially impressed me) or just sit down and have a coffee while reading a fashion magazine. I actually did all of these, oops…

Other than that, I could stop by at the YOGAGANG stand and talk to Klara, Teri or meet the rest of the team and eventually buy some goods of the YG merch (oh, isn't the YG mat like the coolest yoga mat you've ever seen? and omg, the PB slice bars? no words needed here.). All YG people were so friendly and gave me the feeling that we are long-term friends and can talk about anything. This is one of the things that I literally adore about YOGAGANG- everyone involved loves the job and is absolutely dedicated to it. Even though they all have many things to do while such a big event is going on, they are always there for you, willing to help, advise, or just joke around!

But what was the event's main aim, and I still did not really get to here? Right, YOGA!

I tried most of the classes, and I must admit that none was similar to another or that I would get bored. We all already know that yoga under Klara's guidance is not the same yoga as anyone would think of… I have been doing yoga for already some years now, but believe me that if you think you are petty good at following the Yoga with Adriane youtube videos (although they are genius as well) or even real classes, you come to Klara's class and feel like you have never done such kind of movement before. Speaking from my own experience. First, you feel lost, but you realize that you love the feeling it gives you, and you challenge yourself even more. And this just perfectly describes the event as a whole.

There were many different parts, and thus I got the chance to do not only power yoga, improve my handstand or rest in savasana… I took the martial arts class with Tolja, thanks to which I remembered all the kickbox classes I participated in a few years ago, but then quit due to lack of time. Because kickbox classes combine boxing and kicking with many other strength and power exercises, it is a great way to keep myself fit, even if I know for sure that I have not the slightest interest in becoming a professional fighter.

Then there was the killer workout with Adel. I engaged approximately every single muscle in my body and felt happy afterward, thanks to all the endorphins that my brain produced. The only thing I am really sad about is that I missed Martin's talk-based presentation about biohacking! I hope to be lucky enough to catch it next time!

After my most favorite final class- which lasted two hours but I would never say so… this good it was, btw my mum absolutely loved it too and even my sister, who hates typically yoga for how "boring" it is, said it was great- I was so dead and exhausted from all the fantastic things that the only thing I could think of was to have a drink at the rooftop with all the great people I have met and watch the sunset before leaving home after the whole day.

Despite not being able to walk or even get out of my bed the following morning, I enjoyed the event to its fullest and cannot wait for the next one!

Thank you YOGAGANG<33
